FREE Foreclosure Prevention Help

The Orange County Home Ownership Collaborative, is hosting their Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop. Lending institutions will be on hand providing onsite assistance in addition to Free legal advice, financial counseling and other relief resources from the experts. This is only open to principles who are behind on mortgage payments and risk foreclosure. These Free Workshops are held monthly.

First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit EXPANDED!

Under the new law, an eligible taxpayer must buy, or enter into a binding contract to buy, a principal residence on or before April 30, 2010 and close on the home by June 30, 2010. For qualifying purchases in 2010, taxpayers have the option of claiming the credit on either their 2009 or 2010 return.A tax credit of up to $8,000 is available for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009.  Take advantage of the markets low prices and get a break!  Read more...

PWR Opening Doors, Down Payment Assistance Program

Prospective home buyers, working with a PWR REALTOR® member, may qualify for a $10,000 grant towards the down payment on their first home through the PWR Charity Foundation's Opening Doors Down Payment Assistance program.
The program was established as a means for the REALTOR® community to assist low to moderate income families in fulfilling the American dream of home ownership. Funds for the grants are donated by the members of the Pacific West Association of REALTORS® and our industry partners. Read more...
